Project Night Night helps homeless kids feel more secure

When I was looking at the Red Heart Yarn site last night, I found this  link on the Red heart page and it led me to an idea that I had considered before myself.  The idea is to have an easy to carry tote that has a toy, book, and small blanket in it that can be given to homeless children to help them feel loved and secure.

Here’s what a sample bag looks like, and here are more of the details – http://bit.ly/bxn3xF

You can start a group to do this yourself, or you can send a toy, book or blanket in to their headquarters.  Some of these kids have nothing but the clothes on their backs, and no child deserves to live like that.  So whip out your crochet hooks, kniting needles, thread and fabric, and let’s help these kids.
